"This is one of my favorite views in Marble Canyon. Jack Hillers, the photographer on John Wesley Powell's trip down the Grand Canyon, took the first photograph of this spot. Tomas Moran used that photograph to make his famous etching of this great canyon view, which is on the cover of many guide books."
